Mid winter is the most dangerous time for out of control wild fires in the Eastern Free State. We are very lucky to have Working on Fire protecting the local environment by burning fire breaks to prevent anything getting out of control. Here some great photos of them hard at work, with Horeb in the background, and the last rays of sunshine echoing the flames
