Peaking at 3200m and standing head and shoulders above the clouds, the Maluti mountains
in Lesotho are all about big. This October, CrankChaos will return, bigger and bolder than
ever, ready to take full advantage of everything the elevation has to offer. Here’s what to
look forward to this year.
Check the Gains
Fresh out of the gym, CrankChaos is here to flex its muscles – whether you want to see them
or not. The 2019 edition will be sporting longer and bigger Dual Slalom course. That's an
extra 100m of bigger berms, tighter turns and a fresh new redesign. In addition to the Dual
Slalom deluxe, the FOX Enduro has added two new stages. This year's Enduro now will not
just have three or four, but a total of five action-packed stages to push riders to the very limit.
In addition to the larger than ever routes, organisers have added a Whip-Off of epic
proportions. We're challenging riders to whip it and whip it real good. As well as the standard
Whip-Off, a definite crowd favourite, there will be all-new fun events like the high-jump
challenge, the longest manual and balance challenge. Are you ready to test and show off
your technique at Southern Africa's most unique gravity event?
Do you even Lift?
One of CrankChaos's biggest attractions is that it features the only bike uplift in Africa. This
year, we're adding more T-Bars to the uplift. Now, we're not mathematician's but, by our
calculations, more T-bars equals less queuing, and, more importantly, less queuing equals
