RE: INVITATION TO A CAREER EXHIBITION AT CLARENS COMBINED SCHOOL
After working as a volunteer teacher at Clarens Combined School from February 2015 to May 2015, I have seen the need for learners to be guided careerwise. The majority of learners have no idea of the relationship between what they are learning and the careers they may want to pursue. Of those that seem to be serious with their studies, quite many of them have not decided on what they will pursue, in relation to their gifts and inner interests.
Another challenge that I have discovered is that the young people around Clarens lack exposure since Clarens is a small-rural-tourist-resort-town. Many are growing up with no ambition at all, and of those who are sometimes ambitious many are discouraged by grown-ups who have not seen anything better.
We have thus created S.H.A.P.E. to Share information, Help dreamers, Administer projects, Pioneer ventures, and Equip this generation and generation-next to benefit humanity.
Our response to the need
