Committed to the Upliftment of the Clarens Community

The objective of CCIA is stated in the Constitution of CCIA as, among others, being
“a coming together of the Churches in greater Clarens in witnessing to the gospel of Jesus Christ through word and deed; by faithfully communicating the life-giving Word of God in all situations”.
In our Outreach Committee we therefore strive to co-ordinate and co-operate in witnessing activities in our area. We look forward to play a part in using the facilities of the Tshepong Centre in this regard.
The main outreach presently organised by the committee is the recurring visits of the husband-and-wife team of Youth Evangelists, Nick and Sheila Court, of SWYM (Step Wise Youth Movement), assisted by local brother Josef Mokoena. They visit Clarens 5 or 6 times per year, conducting School Assemblies in all the local and some farm schools, teaching various school classes on topics related to Life Skills, leading workshops on Leadership and Conflict Management for school prefects and youth leaders, and running Bible Clubs at Bana ba Hlokang and after-school venues. They also teach church youth workers to conduct Sunday School classes and Bible Clubs.
